While some race teams exist without having "in house" design departments, at Triple Eight Race Engineering we consider that a state of the art design and drawing office is essential to be competitive at the highest level.
Every part of the car is designed here using high-end equipment, including ten networked AMD powered CAD systems running Autodesk Inventor Series and stress analysis software; this enables our engineers to design and subsequently develop the most competitive cars

Speed is everything so all components are modelled in 3D and checked in dynamic computer assemblies. These same electronic models can then be used for CNC machining of solid components. |
