Working in a clean environment where everything has its place and is easily accessible is not only confined to the factory. This needs to be replicated at the track and involves heavy logistics.
On arrival at a circuit, the garages need to be set up, trucks unloaded and the cars prepared for the crucial event. A combination of modular floorings and boards are used to accommodate the different shapes and sizes of garages from circuit to circuit. Once these are in place, the cars are rolled in their respective garage and the work can start : set up, final checks, possible repairs after a race. |
A "home from home" is set up at every circuit |

Winning races is nowadays only one part of a successful racing team.
The marketing and promotional activities surrounding the race form an important part of the overall picture.
From grid girls to driver appearances, press conferences and autograph sessions, the team can create a special bond with the fans. |
