Triple Eight Race Engineering was founded in late 1996 and is based at Greatworth on the Northamptonshire/Oxfordshire border near to the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit.

The Company is best known for its motor race exploits, most notably in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). The BTCC is widely regarded as being one of the premier series of its kind in the world and we are proud of our record as the most successful team ever to compete in the Championship. Between 1997 and the end of the 2009 season we designed, built and raced cars as the official works Vauxhall team in the BTCC. To date the team has won over 100 races and 22 Championship titles including Champion driver 5-times and Champion Manufacturer 6-times. From 2012 we have operated as the works MG team.

Triple Eight has also competed in other arenas including GT sports car racing and the British Rally Championship. We also undertake private and confidential engineering work and consultancy for a number of parties.
